After reviewing all the available health insurance plans, here are the 5 steps required to apply for coverage:
Step #1 - Complete information about yourself - this includes basic contact information.
Step #2 - Complete information about all those in your household who need to be insured - this should include every person in your household, including yourself, your spouse/partner and children who live with you.
Step #3 - Identify yourself if you or anyone in your family is American Indian or Alaska Native.
Step #4 - Answer questions about your current health coverage - this includes whether or not you are currently covered, and tax credits you may have received.
Step #5 - Sign agreement and send in the completed application (if mailing).
Where to find help in completing your application
Consumers have from November 1 to December 15 to either select new coverage or switch plans. They can apply in many ways, including:
