  4. Cut carbs - not all carbs, but just two days a week. You'll be amazed at the difference.
  5. Spice it up - some spices, like the ones that are in thai food, can really burn the calories.
  6. Limit the stress - women who are stressed out burn less calories -- about 104 fewer calories -- than those who are calm.
  7. Keep it cool - turning down the temperature in your home will help burn more calories. If you can get used to it, about 64 degrees is ideal for calorie burn.
  8. Exercise - you can get the same results from strength training by exercising 2 days a week, versus 3. So, why not take a day off.
  9. Keep moving - while at work, keep moving. If you're on the phone, walk around. Tap your feet while at your desk. Just keep moving -- and burning more calories.
  10. Limit the beer - beer has a lot of calories, so limit yourself to just one. Two beers can halt the fat burn by 73 percent.
