How you sleep could be directly related to who you are, according to sleep assessment researchers. There are 6 common sleeping positions, and each one may reveal who you really are.

6 common sleeping positions

#1 Fetal position - if you sleep curled up in the fetal position, you may be tough on the outside but soft at heart. About 41 percent of the 1,000 participants who took the sleep survey sleep in the fetal position, and twice as many women sleep in this position as men.

#2 Log - do you sleep like a log? Do you sleep like a log? Sleeping lying on your side with both arms down straight down may indicate you are easy going and an extrovert. But it can also mean you are gullible.

#3 Freefall - a freefall position is one where you lie on your stomach with your head turned to the side and your hands up by your ears. Not only is this position good for digestion, it can also mean you as a friendly and sensitive person.

#4 Starfish - this position is marked by lying on your back with your arms up and around your head. Starfish are good friends, but they also snore!

#5 Soldier - soldiers sleep in a very straight position on their backs with arms straight down the side. Soldiers are quiet and reserved and usually have high standards.

#6 Yearner - yearners sleep on their side with both arms out in front of their body. Researchers say that yearners have open natures but may take longer in making decisions. One they make a decision, however, they are unlikely to change it.
