Oh No, Not the Mac and Cheese! -- 242,000 Cases of Kraft Mac & Cheese Recalled
What kid, and adult for that matter, doesn't enjoy a plate of macaroni and cheese? And macaroni and cheese is high in calcium and iron. By iron, we don't mean small pieces of metal, but that's what took 242,000 cases of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese off the market.

Kraft Mac & Cheese recalled

The recent recall included 242,000 cases of original flavor Kraft Macaroni & Cheese dinners due to the potential danger of some boxes containing small pieces of metal. The contaminated boxes, however, should not be thrown away but returned to the store from which they were purchased to ensure that no one is harmed, and no one has been harmed by the incident, fortunately. Consumers can also call Kraft at 1-800-816-9432 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern time for a full refund on their purchase.

What to look for

The boxes to look for are:

  • Boxes coded between September 18-October 11, 2015 (effective code dates)
  • Boxes with the C2 code below the code date
