These 10 Foods Are The Best You Can Eat!

It's just as important to know what foods you should be eating as it is to know what foods you should NOT be eating. Avoiding foods that are bad for your health is a good start in the right direction, but you also need to be sure you are eating enough of the right foods.

Forbes Magazine recently published a list of the top 10 foods you should be eating. The list was the result of an analysis done by a registered dietitian, David Grotto. Grotto's new book, The Best Things You Can Eat, evaluates foods that are good for you based on their calorie content as well as the amount of vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, fiber and protein they contain.

Here are just 5:

#1 Beans - have only 200 calories in a cup and are rich in vitamin B1, magnesium, fiber, iron and potassium.
#2 Yogurt - contains only 140 calories in a cup and is rich in vitamin B2 or riboflavin, calcium, phosphorous, potassium and iodine. Make sure you get plain yogurt.
#3 Beef liver - contains just 137 calories per 3-ounce serving and is very rich in iron, vitamin A, biotin, choline, vitamin B12, vitamin B3 or niacin, vitamin B6, chromium, copper and phosphorus.
#4 Salmon - this delicious fish has only 157 calories per 3 ounces and is full of good stuff like biotin, vitamin B12, vitamin B3 or niacin, vitamin B6, vitamin D, potassium, omega-3 fatty acids and choline.
